Job description

As development engineer in the timing & scoring system development department, you are in charge of the development of the computer vision technologies applied for the measurement of the athlete’s performances during sport competitions.

You work in close collaboration with our sports managers and the sports federation to design and validate the new computer vision systems used in the next Olympic Games.

Responsibilities :

• Lead of the developments in the computer vision fields
• Design and development of the evolution of the photofinish system
• Ensure the highest quality and reliability of the software, and support continuous improvement
• Support of the technology and validations during sport competitions
• Strong involvement in innovation for video tracking in sport
• Small Project Management

Profile

• Must possess a Bachelor (BS) or Master (MS) in Computer Vision Engineering, or equivalent
• Professional requirements
• Experience in computer vision and machine learning technologies
• Object-oriented programming (C++)
• Experience in Matlab
• Knowledge in C# is an asset
• Strong communication skills in English, for reporting internally and externally
• Self-organized, able to prioritize according to deadlines
• Resilient and able to operate in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment
• Available for travels in Switzerland and abroad (approx. 20% of the time)
